Who we are
Tiseer Welfare Trust (“we”) is a registered charity in England and Wales, charity number 1131331. We are the data controller for personal information collected through this website. You can contact us at info@tiseerwt.org.
What we collect
When you donate: your name, email address and the amount and campaign you choose. When you contact us or apply to volunteer: the details you write in the form. We also keep basic technical data, such as your IP address, to protect the website from abuse.
Why we use it
To process and record your donation, to send you the bank details and a receipt, to reply to your message or volunteer application, and to meet our legal and accounting duties as a charity.
Our legal basis
We rely on your consent, on the steps needed to handle your donation or request, and on our legal obligations, depending on the purpose. We never sell your data.
Who we share it with
Only with service providers that help us run the website and send email, under contracts that protect your data, and with authorities when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Donation records are kept for as long as charity and tax law require, usually six years. Messages and volunteer applications are deleted when they are no longer needed.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, object to how we use it, or withdraw your consent at any time by emailing info@tiseerwt.org. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
